CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85�
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN
ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY LAIRD'S HARDWARE STORE,
INC., AT TAMARAC TOWN SQUARE FOR AN ADDITIONAL
SIGN CALLED THE "SECOND WALL SIGN"; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Laird's Hardware, Inc. has requested a waiver from the
Sign Ordinance No. 84-58 (Code Chapter 21) governing signs; and
WHEREAS, the Beautification Ccnnnittee reviewed this request and has
made recommendations thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official reviewed said waiver.
NOW, SORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the Sign Ordinance requested by
Laird's Hardware, Inc., 8201 Northwest 88th Avenue, for a sign called the
"Second Wall Sign" which will be located on the West elevation of the
building, is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: That any provision of Resolution R--85-149 or Council
action at its June 12, 1985 meeting in conflict with this Resolution is
hereby superseded.
SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall became effective immediately
upon adoption.
