Reso. #3691 Rev. 7/10/85 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA RESOLUTION NO. R-85--223 A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR UTILITIES WEST WELLS 12 AND 13 BID #85-23; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the administration to go to bid at its meeting of May 22, 1985; and WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County, on June 3 and June 10, 1985; and WHEREAS, bids were opened on June 24, 1985; and WHEREAS, R.J. Sullivan Corp. is the lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder to perform the work listed in Section 1 below; and WHEREAS, K. Herron & Sons Concrete Construction Co., Inc., is the lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder to perform the work listed in Section 2 below. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the bid of R.J. Sullivan Corp. in the amount of $168,800.00, is hereby approved for the construction of Wells No. 12 and 13 (Bid Item #1 ), with funds to come from CIAO Account 432-363-537-645. SECTION 2: That the bid of K. Herron & Sons Concrete Construction Co., Inc., in the amount of $15,750.00, is hereby approved for the construction of sidewalks (Bid Item #2), with funds from CIAC Account 432-363-537-645.
