CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85-z2
A RESOLUTION WAIVING PROSECUTION OF THE 24
FALSE ALARMS CAUSED BY ELECTRICAL STORMS ON
THE AFTERNOON OF THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 1985; AND
PROVIDINGAN EFFECTIVE_DATE._ ___._,__
WHEREAS, extensive electrical storms occurred in the
city on June 27, 1985 causing electrical power surges and
some momentary blackouts, and resulting in numerous false
alarms;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
E T 1: That the false alarms occurring on Thurs-
day, June 27, 1985 which resulted in the Tamarac police
responses indicated by the following police report numbers
are hereby deemed to be at no fault of the alarm user and
shall not be pursued by the City:
