RESOLUTION NO. R-85-,;,.aZ�
A RESOLUTION ISSUING REVISED DEVELOPMENT ORDER NO.
130-1, FOR A REVISED SITE PLAN FOR ISLAND CLUB
APARTMENTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instructions of the City Council of Tamarac,
Florida, a public meeting has been advertised in accordance with applicable law of
the date, time and place of the meeting regarding the review of the application for
a revised development order by the applicant for development approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined and investigated the applica-
tion and staff recommendations; and the attached Development Review Status Sheet
dated 7/3/85; and
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the revised development order and
accompanying documents at a public meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the application is in
compliance with all elements of the Comprehensive Plan, or will be in compliance
prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for the development that is the
subject of the application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application for approval of a revised site plan
for Island Club Apartments, prepared by Isaac Sklar Associates, revised
June 18, 1985, to reflect the following changes listed 1 through 7, is approved
subject to the following conditions:
1. Revision to off -site entrance detail
2. Addition of two (2) project identification signs
3. Revision of lake cross-section consistent with City Code
4. Reduction in size of southern lake
5. Relocation of electric room in Building 5
6. Realignment of dumpsters
7. Removal of fountain from entrance turn -around
A. Construction is to be in complete compliance with the plans and
specifications submitted by the developer to the City of Tamarac as described in
Section II of the Development Review Status Sheet and approved engineering drawings
B. Commencement of construction shall be no longer than one year from
the date of this approval. If the development does not commence construction
within one year, this approval is null and void unless an extension has been
granted in accordance with applicable regulations.

C. The revised development order is assignable, but an assignment
does not discharge any assignee from strict compliance with the order unless the
City Council consents to modify any of the original requirements.
D. Additional conditions established in order to issue the revised
development order are set forth as follows:
1 - Bahia grassed, fully sodded swales;
2 - Elimination, if possible, if speed bumps;
3 - Developer to patch in locations necessary on the entrance road
from Commercial Boulevard; and
4 - The entire entrance from Commercial Boulevard to this project
must receive a 3/4-inch overlay of asphalt.
SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this revised
development order be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
the City Council shall determine if the other portions of the order remain valid
or whether the approval shall be null and void.
SECTION 3: This revised development order as conditioned shall
become effective immediately upon its passage.
