CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85--�
A RESOLUTION REQUIRING PRIOR NOTICE TO THE
INVESTMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF THE DATE,
VALUE AND NATURE OF TRANSACTIONS INVOLVING
CITY INVESTMENT FUNDS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE_ D
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it desirable that in-
formation on transactions of City investment funds be made
available prior to the execution of such transactions; and
WHEREAS, the Investment Advisory Committee has a special
interest in being notified prior to all such investment
transactions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
SECTIQ]I1_I: That the City Manager or his designee shall
provide notice to the Investment Advisory Committee:
(1) At least 14 days prior to the maturation date of
any investment instrument, specifying the date,
value and nature of the maturing instrument;
(2) At least 14 days prior to the expected date of
investment or reinvestment of any City funds,
specifying the expected date of the transaction and
the nature of the instrument to be purchased.
SECTIQN_2: Notice shall be by mail or hand delivered to
each individual member of the Investment Advisory Committee.
The notice shall be deemed effective upon dispatch. The
failure of one or more members to receive such notice or the
failure of the Committee to meet or act in response to the
the notices shall not affect the normal course or timetable
of investment of City funds.
SECTION__8: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
