CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85-.ZFS�
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL MILLAGE RATE FOR
THE CITY OF TAMARAC FOR FISCAL YEAR 1985/86 AT
2.85 MILLS ($2.85 PER ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS
($1,000.00) ASSESSED VALUATION); AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Broward County Property Appraiser certified pur-
suant to Florida Statutes the assessed value to the City of Tamarac
on July 15, 1985; and
WHEREAS, on August 15, 1985 (within 30 days of certification
of value by the Property Appraiser) the City of Tamarac advised the
Property Appraiser of its proposed aggregate millage rate, of its
rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statutes, of the day,
time and place at which a public hearing would be held to consider
the proposed millage rate and the tentative budget; and
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser utilized the information in
preparing the notice of proposed property taxes pursuant to Florida
Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser mailed this notice not
later than 50 days after certification of value pursuant to Florida
Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has conducted a first public
hearing on the proposed aggregate millage rate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC
IDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing recitations of fact are true
nd correct.
SECTION 2: That the proposed final millage rate for the
ity of Tamarac for fiscal year 1985/86 is hereby established at
.85 Mills or $2.85 per one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) assessed
aluation.
SECTION 3: That the final public hearing will be held for
option of the final aggregate millage rate and budget on Monday,
