CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85-��
A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO DISPOSITION OF A PERFORMANCE
BOND POSTED FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS BY MCDEVITI' & STREET
COMPANY AT UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
HOSPITAL; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, McDevitt & Street Co., as Principal, and NCNB - National
Bank of North Carolina, as Surety, has filed with the City Letter of Credit
No. 31641 in the amount of $21,729.60 to guarantee public improvements at
University Community Hospital; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has found that the work has been
substantially completed except for certain remedial repairs pertaining to
drainage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Letter of Credit No. 31641 posted by McDevitt &
Street Co., as Principal, and NCNB - National Bank of North Carolina, as Surety,
in the amount of $21,729.60 to guarantee public improvements at University
Community Hospital is HEREBY RELEASED, subject to fulfillment of the following
conditions by 1/30/85:
1. Satisfactory completion of the required remedial repairs.
2. Receipt by the City of a one-year warranty bond in the amount of $8,188.25.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized
to call said Letter of Credit if the required remedial repairs are not completed
by 1/30/85 or if the required warranty bond is not received by the City by
1/30/85.
