CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R--85- :F1-2G
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION R-85-301
ADMINISTRATIVELY ADJUSTING THE FINAL AD
VALOREM MILLAGE RATE FOR 1985/86 FISCAL YEAR
FROM 2.71 MILLS TO 2.73 MILLS ($2.73 PER
$1000 ASSESSED VALUATION); AND PROVIDING AN
FE FECTI.VE-.PAT
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted the required public
hearings and passed Resolution R-85-301 on September 30, 1985
establishing a final millage rate of 2.71 mills, pursuant to
law; and
WHEREAS, the Broward County Tax Assessor reduced the
certified assessed value of the taxable property within the
City of Tamarac by .74%.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC:
SECTION_1: Pursuant to Florida Statute, Section 200.065
(1984 Supp.) the City Council hereby "administratively
adjusts" its 1985/86 ad valorem millage rate from 2.71 to
2.73 mills (resulting in $2.73 per $1,000 assessed value).
SECT10-2: Resolution R-85-301 is hereby repealed to
the extent of any conflict with the provisions of this
resolution.
SZCTION3 : This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED
1985.
