Reso. #3835 1 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA 2 RESOLUTION NO. 3 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY LENNAR HOMES, INC., FOR 4 A TEMPORARY DIRECTIONAL SIGN; AND PROVIDING AN FFECTIVE DAT 5 6 WHEREAS, Lennar Home, Inc., has requested a waiver from the ? Sign Ordinance NO. 84-58 (Code Section 21) governing signs on prop- erty other than their own; and 8 WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee reviewed this request and has made recommendation thereon; and 10 WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official reviewed said waiver. 11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 12 TAMARAC, FLORIDA: 13 SC1I0N 1: That the waiver to the Sign Ordinance 14 requested by Lennar Homes, Inc., for a temporary directional sign 15 on property known as Tract 40, owned by Carteret Savings and Loan 16 Association to be erected on the east side of Nob Hill Road north 17 of Westwood Drive, is hereby approved. 1B SEgTION 2: Conditions of Approval: 19 1: This waiver shall be valid for one year from 20 October 23, 1985. 2: This approval is granted according to the terms and 21 conditions in Lennar Homes, Inc., letter dated September 6, 1985 and co -signed by Irwin H. Palmetto Road t Boca Raton, Florida 33432 Dear Bob, As we discussed, we hereby request your approval to place a directional sign on your property known as Tract 40 in Tamarac. it will be located 10 feet east from the property line off of Nob Hill Road. Enclosed is an illustration of the sign and its size. We recognize that your approval would be for as long as you own the property and also subject to your development of the property or the placer of any free-standing signs thereon.* If possible would you also send us the property survey or a copy of it. If this request meets with your approval, could you please indicate same on the enclosed copy. Your expeditious reply would be greatly appreciated since the City of Tamarac requires your written approval prior to their sign approval. Again, thank you for your continued cooperation.
