CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. - 38
A RESOLUTION RATIFYING ADDENDUM NO. 2 TO
THE CONTRACT FOR SOLID WASTE COLLECTION
AND DISPOSAL BETWEEN THE CITY OF TAMARAC
AND WASTE MANAGEMENT, INC.; PROVIDING FOR
A REVISED COMPENSATION SCHEDULE; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Broward County Board of County Commissioners
approved an increase in the tipping fee, from $22 to $25 per
ton at their September 10, 1985 meeting; and
WHEREAS, the garbage contract provides for a revised
compensation schedule in the event that the company is
required to pay a higher tipping fee for disposal at the
County landfill.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES01VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
,5ECTIQN_l: That addendum No. 2 to the Contract for Solid
Waste Disposal between the City of Tamarac and Waste Manage-
ment, Inc. (attached as Exhibit A) is hereby ratified and
approved.
SECUON_2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
its adoption.

ADDENDUM NO. 2 TO CONTRACT FOR
SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL
THIS ADDENDUM is effective the 1st day of October 1985
and is made and entered into by and between the City of
Tamarac, a municipal corporation of the State of Florida, and
Waste Management, Inc. of Florida, a Florida corporation.
W I T N E ZEE IR:
WHEREAS, -the City of Tamarac herein referred to as
"City" and Waste Management, Inc. of Florida herein referred
to as "Contractor" entered into a contract for solid waste
collection and disposal on October 18, 1984; and
WHEREAS, the parties to said contract have agreed to the
additional provision contained herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has ratified this addendum at
its 0C I -a ���. .�f 1 meeting by Resolution
R-85- :j8 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, for the mutual benefits and other
considerations recited herein, the parties agree as follows:
SZOTI1: All definitions contained in the original
contract shall apply in this addendum.
SECTI0L2: That the following addendum is incorporated
into the Contract for Solid Waste Collection and Disposal
entered into by the parties:
That based on the increased costs from $22 per ton
to $25 per ton, the following revised compensation
schedule shall be in effect from October 1, 1985 to
exactly reflect that increased cost:
