CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO: R- 9.,5 - 3 3 9
A RESOLUTION SETTING SITE PLAN SUBMISSION AND
REVIEW FEES; REPEALING RESOLUTION R-79-137 TO
THE EXTENT IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, revenues from site plan submission and review fees have not
kept pace with expenditures; and
WHEREAS, the Deputy City Engineer has recommended the following rates
as the first increase since 1979; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed such fees, and has determined
it is necessary to revise the fee schedule.
SECTION 1: Site Development Plans Submission Fees Schedule.
Each preliminary site development plan shall be accompanied by an initial
administrative review fee, in accordance with the following schedule:
(a) Residential Development
1 - $77.00 per acre for the first twenty acres.
2 - $37.95 per acre for any additional acreage, or $4.40 per
dwelling unit, whichever is greater.
(b) Commercial Development
1 - $154.00 per acre for the first twenty acres.
2 - �;77.00 per acre for any additional acreage.
(c) Minimum Review Fees
The minimum review fees for developments submitted pursuant to Chapter 7 of the
Tamarac City Code shall be as follows:
1 - New Developments - $660.00.
2 - Revisions to approved site development plans - $400.00*
*NOTE 1. For minor physical changes to previously approved site development
plans which the Chief Building Official, City Engineer, and Director of
Community Development determine do not substantially affect the overall develop-
ment plans, the minimum fee shall be $175.00.
2. Where a Site Development Plan has been previously approved by the City
Council and a proposed revision occurs entirely within a private recreation

area, the administrative review fee shall be $50.00 if no existing recreation
building is increased in floor area, and if no new building is added and if
the traffic flow is not altered, and if no revisions to the site engineering is
required in the opinion of the City Engineer.
(d) Concept Review Fee.
For informational purposes, reviewed by Staff and discussed at a meeting with
the Planning Conission - $250.00.
(e) Subsequent Administrative Review Fees.
If the initial preliminary site development plan is determined by the Planning
Commission to not be in substantial compliance to Chapter 7 of the Tamarac City
Code, subsequent submissions shall be accompanied with a fee of $50.00.
SECTION 2: That Resolution R-79-137 is hereby repealed to the extent
in conflict with this Resolution.
SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
