CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- �D
A RESOLUTION SETTING A NEW SCHEDULE OF ON SITE AND
OFF SITE ENGINEERING INSPECTION FEES; REPEALING
RESOLUTIONS R-79-138 AND R-79-139; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 24--9 of the Tamarac City Code authorizes the City
Council to set by Resolution engineering inspection fees; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has found that present revenues are
not keeping pace with expenditures for such inspections; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed such fees, and has determined
it is necessary to revise the fee schedule.
NOW, TTIRRMRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the schedule of enrr,ineering inspection fees shall be
as follows:
Inspection Fees:
An application for an improvement permit shall be filed with the
City. Each application shall be accompanied by a plan indicating the
exact nature and location of the desired improvements and an itemized,
estimated cost of all site improvements, certified by the applicant's
engineer or accountant.
The cost of permit and inspection fees for improvements under the City's
subdivision improvement ordinance shall be paid in accordance with the
following fee schedule:
(a) Canal excavation and bulkheads,
bridges, seawalls, endwalls,
headwalls, water distribution,
site preparation and beautifi-
cation ........................7.1570 of construction cost
(b) All other improvements ......... 8.257o of construction cost
(c) The minimum total fee to be
assessed any improvement project
for which a site development plan
is required, shall be seven hundred
fifty dollars $750.00
(d) Reinspection Fee........... $20.00
for each reinspection required pursuant
to Section 24-9(c) Subdivision improve-
ments, Tamarac City Code.

(e) The percentage fee for improvement permits is
fixed at the time the permit is obtained and
costs, not percentages, are to be recomputed
and certified by the applicant's engineer upon
completion of the work.
SECTION 2: That Resolutions R-79-138 and R-79-139 are
hereby repealed to the extent in conflict with this Resolution.
SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
