A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT
6 OF ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATION'S SMALL COMMUNITY
7 SEWER CONSTRUCTION ASSISTANCE ACT GRANT NO.
753050 (STEP 2+3) FOR THE SLUDGE DEWATERING
g AND COMPOSTING PROJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE AND PROCESS
THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS; AND PROVIDING AN
9 EFFECTIVE DATE.

11 WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has applied for a Florida Department of
Environmental Regulation Small Community Sewer Construction Assistance
12 Act grant and that grant has been approved.
23 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 01' THE CITY OF
14 TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
1 5 SECTION 1: That the City of Tamarac hereby accepts the offer of a
state grant No. 753050 (Step 2+3) in the amount of $896,000 for
16 construction of the Sludge Dewatering and Composting project 84-7.
.17 SECTION 2: That the proper City officials are authorized to execute
and process the necessary documents as required by the Florida Department
1 of Environmental Regulation.
19 SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.
