CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85-358
A RESOLUTION ASSESSING A RATE FOR THE RESI-
DENTIAL GARBAGE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL FEE;
PROVIDING FOR 50% BILLING OF SAID FEE; AND
WHEREAS, Ordinance 0-85-53, creating Article IV of
Chapter 11 of the Tamarac City Code, established the author-
ity of the City Council to set by resolution the rate of the
garbage collection and disposal fee as a percentage of the
actual cost incurred by the City under its residential
garbage collection and disposal contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA;
SECTION: That a rate of 50% of the actual cost
incurred by the City under its residential garbage collection
and disposal contract shall be established as a residential
garbage collection and disposal fee.
SECTION 2: Said fee shall amount to the following
charge per month for:
(a) curb service per unit
other than condominium $ 3.00
(b) dumpster service per
unit condominium
$ 1.42
Said fee shall be billed in arrears on the customer's
regular utility bill.
$ECT.roN 3: This resolution shall be effective immedi-
ately upon approval. The fee assessed pursuant to this
resolution shall commence October 1, 1985.
