RESOLUTION NO. R-85- 3 6
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO CALL THE PERFORMANCE BOND POSTED
BY HEFTLER REALTY COMPANY FOR SIDEWALKS ASSO-
CIATED WITH PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Heftler Realty Company, as principal, with the First
American Bank and Trust, as surety, has filed with the City Letter
of Credit No. 1386 in the amount of $14,460.00 to guarantee' side-
walks associated with the Heftler Homes project; and
WHEREAS, the bond is due to expire and there is not properly
completed work; and
WHEREAS, the principal has been notified that the work is note,
properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAM-
ARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations set forth above are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: That the Letter of Credit No. 1386, in the
amount of $14,460.00 posted by Heftler Realty Company, as principal
with First American Bank and Trust, as surety is hereby called by
the City of Tamarac if an extension has not been provided to said
bond by November 13, 1985.
SECTION 3: this Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
