CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85-366_
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE
CITY OFFICIALS TO CALL THE WARRANTY BOND
POSTED BY BENTLEY CONSTRUCTION DEVELOPMENT
AND ENGINEERING INC., FOR PUBLIC IMPROVE-
MENTS ASSOCIATED WITH CENTRA CARE MEDICAL
CENTER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Bentley Construction Development and Engineering
Inc., as principal, with Peerless Insurance Company, as surety,
has filed with the City Bond J-9-44-92 in the amount of $5,522.25
to guarantee public improvements associated with the Centra Care
Medical Center project; and
WHEREAS, the bond is due to expire and there is not properly
completed work as cited in the Deputy City Engineer's letter
#0585-375 dated May 20, 1985, and memo #6514 dated October 31,1985
and;
WHEREAS, the principal has been notified that the work is not
properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations set forth above are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: That Bond No. J-9-44-92, in the amount of
$5,522.25, posted by Bentley Construction Development and
Engineering Inc., as principal, with Peerless Insurance Company,
as surety, is hereby called by the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this_aday of 1985.
