CITY OF. TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85-375
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF
PARKING REQUESTED BY PROPERTY SYSTEMS, INC. AT
MIDWAY PLAZA; PETITION #25-Z-85; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that
Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and
loading requirements whenever a hardship would exist by adhering
to strict application thereof, and further provides that the
waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health and wel-
fare of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at Midway Plaza; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Property Systems,
Inc. at Midway Plaza Petition #25-Z-85.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application requested by Property
Systems, Inc. at Midway Plaza Petition #25-Z-85, is HEREBY
APPROVED to waive the requirement of angle parking for 343 spaces
by allowing 90 degree angle parking. Council also agrees to
waive future requirements up to 90 additional parking spaces for
the future dependent upon the occupancy of the various buildings.
This grants a waiver in advance by creating a bank of 90 spaces.

SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective imme-
diately upon adoption.
