CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85-
A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO DISPOSITION OF A
BOND POSTED BY LENNAR HOMES, INC. FOR SANI-
TARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH ASH-
MONT PHASE II PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Lennar Homes, as principal with Manufacturers
National Bank of Detroit as surety, has filed with the City
Letter of Credit No. 83271 in the amount of $4,260.91 to
guarantee sanitary sewer improvements associated with the
Ashmont Phase II project; and
WHEREAS, the bond is due to expire and there is not
properly completed work; and
WHEREAS, the principal has been notified that the work
is not properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations set forth above are
true and correct.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are
hereby authorized to call Letter of Credit No. 83271, in the
amount of $4,260.91, posted by Lennar Homes, Inc., as princi-
pal, with Manufacturers National Bank of Detroit, as surety,
if the remedial repairs are not completed or if an extension
to this Letter of Credit has not been provided on or before
December 2, 1985.
SECTION 3: That Letter of Credit No. 83271 be released
if the remedial repairs are completed by Dec. 2, 1985.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption. PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED thi" day ofJ 1985.
