CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85- ,5,r
A RESOLUTION RELEASING A PERFORMANCE BOND
POSTED FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS BY THE WHITING -
TURNER CONTRACTING COMPANY AT PICCADILLY
CAFETERIA; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The Whiting -Turner Contracting Company, as Principal, and
United States Fidelity & Guaranty Company, as Surety, has filed with t
City Bond No. 04--0120-16354-83 in the amount of $41,707.00 to guarantee
installation of public improvements at Piccadilly Cafeteria; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has found that the work has been
completed and has recommended release of said bond subject to receipt
of a one-year warranty Bond in the amount of $14,427.38 and payment of
additional engineering fees in the amount of $2,527.73.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Bond No. 04-0120-16354-83 posted by The Whiting --
Turner Contracting Company, as Principal, and United States Fidelity &
Guaranty Company, as Surety, in the amount of $41,707.00, to guarantee
installation of public improvements at Piccadilly Cafeteria, is IiEREBY
RELEASED, subject to receipt of a one-year Warranty Bond in the amount
of $14,427.38 and payment of additional Engineering Fees due in the
amount of $2,527.73.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
adoption.
