CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-85- _Ca
A RESOLUTION RELEASING A PERFORMANCE BOND
POSTED FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENT'S BY THE WHITING -
TURNER CONTRACTING COMPANY AT PICCADILLY
CAFETERIA; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The Whiting -Turner Contracting Company, as Principal, and
United States Fidelity & Guaranty Company, as Surety, has filed with
the City Bond No. 04-0120-16463-83 in the amount of $11,050.50 to
guarantee installation of road improvements at Piccadilly Cafeteria;
and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has found that the work has
been completed and has recommended release of said bond subject to
receipt of a one-year warranty bond in the amount of $2,762.62.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Bond No. 04-0120-16463-83 posted by the Whiting -
Turner Contracting Company, as Principal, and United States Fidelity &
Guaranty Company, as Surety, in the amount of $11,050.50, to guarantee
installation of public improvements at Piccadilly Cafeteria, is HEREBY
RELEASED, subject to receipt of a one-year Warranty Bond in the amount
of $2,762.62.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.
