CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- 85-62
A RESOLUTION DISCHARGING THE
REDISTRICTING COMMITTEE IN
CONFORMANCE WITH SEC. 6.03 OF
THE CITY CHARTER.
WEREAS, a Redistricting Committee was appointed on
May 1, 1984 as required by Sec. 6.03 of the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, the term of the Redistricting Committee ends
at the last City Council meeting.prior to the next municipal election
day as required by Sec. 6.03 of the City Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council expresses its
appreciation to the members of the first Redistricting Committee,
appointed pursuant to the recently revised Sec. 6.03 of the City
Charter, for their outstanding contribution to the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 2: That the redistricting plan approved by
the Redistricting Committee has been put into effect and therefore
the Redistricting Committee shall be discharged on February 27, 1985
in conformance with Sec. 6.03 of the City Charter.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 27th day of February, 1985.
