CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLiTi'ION NO: R- 9.,5-ZV.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
T,kMARAC APPROVING niE RELEASE AND ASSIGNMENT OF
4.39 m.g.d. OF WASTEWATER EXCESS CAPACITY TO
VARIOUS WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS IN BROWARD
COUNTY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has been approved by various
regulatory agencies for disposal of its wastewater by deepwell injection; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has an excess of 4.39 m.g.d.
wastewater capacity at the Broward County North Regional Plant pursuant to a
Large User Agreement dated March 7, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the various wastewater treatment plants in Broward
County have requested the assignment of Tamarac's excess capacity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Tamarac agrees
to release and assign its 4.39 m.g.d. excess capacity in the Broward County
North Regional Plant to the following agencies:

NORTH LAUDERDALE

m.g.d.
BROADVIEW UTILITIES

m.g.d.
DEERFIELD BEACH

m.g.d.
CORAL SPRINGS

m.g.d.
SECTION 2: The appropriate officials of the City of Tamarac
are authorized to execute the various agreements for the above assignments on
behalf of the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 3: That all previous resolutions in conflict with
this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict.
