CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- D -/40
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF EASEMENT TO
FLORIDA POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the appropriate City Officials are hereby
authorized to execute a Grant of Easement to Florida Power and Light
on the following property on N.W. 88th Avenue at the Public Works
Compound.
"The East 20 feet of the West 27 feet of
Lot 15, Block 8, of "Lyons Commercial
Subdivision" as recorded in Plat Book 69,
Page 42 of the Public Records of Broward
County; less all existing road rights -of -
way. Said lands situate in Tamarac, Broward
County, Florida."

Gentlemen:
The undersigned, owner(s) of the premises described below,
in consideration of the payment of $1.00 and other good and valuable
consideration, the adequacy and receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
grant and give to Florida Power & Light Company, its licensees, agents,
successors, and assigns, an easement for the construction, operation
and maintenance of overhead electric utility facilities (and two (2)
poles and anchors) to be installed from time to time; with the right
to reconstruct, improve, add to enlarge, change the size of and
remove such facilities or any of them, on the property described as
follows: The East 20 feet of the West 27 feet of Lot 15, Block 8, of
"Lyons Commercial Subdivision" as recorded in Plat Book 69, Page 42
of the Public Records of Broward County; less all existing road
rights -of -way.
Said.lands situate in Tamarac, Broward County, Florida.
This easement is limited only to the overhead wires, poles and
anchors as set forth above, and to the fullest extent the undersigned
has the power to grant, if at all, over, along and under the roads,
streets or highways adjoining or through said property.
The following rights are also granted to allow any other
person, firm or corporation to attach wires to any facilities hereunder
and lay cable and conduit within the right of way and to operate the
same for communications purposes; to ingress and egress to said
premises at all times; to clear the land and keep it cleared of all
trees, undergrowth or other obstructions within the easement area; to
trim and cut and keep trimmed and cut all dead, weak, leaning or
dangerous trees or limbs outside of the easement area which might
interfere with or fall upon the lines or systems of communications or
power transmission or distribution.
