CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R - D
A RESOLUTION'APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS
TO THE CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR
THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
PROGRAM: AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac wishes to participate in the
Broward County Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, Federal requirements of Title I of the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974 requires citizen participation; and
WHEREAS, the purpose o.f the Citizen Participation Plan is:
1. To provide citizens with an adequate opportunity to
participate in an advisory role in planning, implement,'
ing and assessing the program.
2. To provide citizens with adequate and timely informa-
tion so as to enable them to be meaningfully involved
in important decisions at various stages of the program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following persons have been appointed
as members of the Citizens Advisory Committee for the Community Develop-
ment Block Grant Program for terms to expire May 15, 1981:
PHIL SOLOMON
RAY MUNITZ
FLORENCE BOCHENEK
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immedi-
ately upon its adoption.
