RESOLUTION NO. R- g0::4
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN
ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY COMMERCIAL PLAZA,
5301 NORTH STATE ROAD 7.
WHEREAS, Commercial Plaza has requested a waiver from the Sign
Ordinance No. 75-43 governing directory signs; and
WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee reviewed this request
and has made recommendation thereon; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Waiver to the Sign Ordinance requested
by Commercial Plaza for one additional directory sign located at
5301 North State Road 7, is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
The present ground sign be permitted to have "Commercial Plaza" at th,
top and that the lettering of this sign be identical and conform with
the lettering of the present directory_ sign at the south end; other
than its illumination, that it conform to the criteria of the center
and that the south sign have curbing constructed around it as a pre-
caution against vehicles.
