CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.R-80-154
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING CERTAIN FEES FOR USE
OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AT TAMARAC PARK.
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to establish certain fees
for use of recreation facilities at Tamarac Park, and
. WHEREAS, Ordinance No.' 78-32 provides for the setting of
fees by Resolution of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following fees shall apply for the
use of recreational facilities at Tamarac Park:
A. ORGANIZED LEAGUES
1. Adult Leagues for three month season-$25.00 per non
resident player per season. No more than 10% non residents are
permitted in a league.
2. Youth Leagues for a three month season -(Maximum age
for participants 18 years of age as of last day of season) $25.00
per non resident player per season. No more than 10% non residents
are permitted in a league. !
3. All.leagues using Tamarac Park Facilities must have at
least $1,000,000.00 liability insurance for bodily injury and
property damage with the City of Tamarac as a named insured on the
policy. The league may not use the fields before the City is
furnished a Certificate of Insurance. Each player in a league
must furnish to City a Covenant not to sue the City in.the event
of bodily injury prior to participating in any league activity at
Tamarac Park.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is directed to promulgate
rules and regulations pertaining to reservations of Park Facilities,
scheduling of leagues and such other matters as are covered by this
Resolution.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immedia
