A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN
ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY JON HENRY'S RESTAURANT,
6303 WEST COMMERCIAL BLVD.

WHEREAS, Jon Henry's Restaurant has requested a waiver from the
Sign.Ordinance No. 80-34 governing letter criteria in shopping
complexes; and
WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee reviewed this request and
has made no recommendations thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official reviewed said waiver and
has made no recommendations thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Waiver to the Sign Ordinance requested by
Jon Henry's Restaurant for Block Lettering located in the Educated
Fish Plaza, 6303 W. Commercial Blvd. is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
1. Receipt of letter from owner/landlord changing the criteria to
block letters in the same colors as presently exist - yp-llow
letters on.brown background.
2. Receipt of letter from Deli and Squire Cleaners that they will!
change to block letters.
3. That the owner indicate that as any new occupational licenses

other than the above two and Jon Henry's Restaurant will confor4
to new criteria.
4. That the Jon Henry's sign will have only two additional lines
beyond the name "Jon Henry's" which will be "Seafood and
Italian".
5. That permits will be taken out for each sign that goes up in
the center and fees paid by all occupants of same.
