CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- 70-16 7
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TWO REGULAR MEMBERS
AND TWO ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF -,ADJUSTMENT;
AND SETTING FORTH THE EXPIRATION OF THE TERMS
OF OFFICE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of two regular members and two alternate members
to the Board of Adjustment expire on July 16, 1980, and
WHEREAS, Council wishes to fill the positions of two regular
members and two alternate members to the Board of Adjustment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Edward H. Rockwell, Jr. is hereby
appointed a regular member of the Board of Adjustment, for a three year
term to expire July 16, 1983 , with all the powers and duties
enumerated in F.S.S.163 and Section 28 of the Code of Ordinances.
SECTION 2: That Robert Sokol is hereby
appointed a regular member of the Board of Adjustment, for a three-year
term to expire July 16, 1983 , with all the powers and duties
enumerated in F.S.S. 163 and Section 28 of the Code of Ordinances.
SECTION 3: That Harold H. Newman $I.(-, and
George A. Hincken are appointed as alternate
members to the Board of Adjustment, for terms to expire in one year,
July 16, 1981 , with all the powers and duties enumerated
in F.S.S. 163 and Section 28 of the Code of Ordinances.
SECTION 4: Any regular member or alternate member of the Board of
Adjustment may be removed from office for cause by the City Council
upon written charges and after public hearing.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
