CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- p-
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF
PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR CORAL GABLES
FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that
Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and
loading requirements whenever a hardship would exist by adhering
to strict application thereof, and further provides that the
waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health and
welfare of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at the Coral Gables Federal
Savings and Loan Association to eliminate fourteen (14) parking
spaces to install four (4) drive-in windows and provide back-up
space for twenty (20) vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Coral Gables
Federal Savings and Loan Association, 4101 West Commercial 1B lvd.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application for a limited waiver to
Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code to eliminate fourteen (14)
parking spaces to install four (4) drive-in windows and provide
back-up space for twenty (20) vehicles and such limited waiver
would not be detrimental to public safety, health and welfare
of the citizens of the City.
SECTION 2: This Resolution will become effective immediately
upon its final passage.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 9t day Nof J 1980.
