CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- kp -%;j�
A RESOLUTION INCLUDING CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS
IN CITY'S HOSPITALIZATION AND MAJOR MEDICAL
PROGRAMS.
WHEREAS, the City Council members have not been included
in hospitalization and major medical coverage provided by the City,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council members devote great amounts
of time to the fulfillment of their duties, and
WHEREAS, the City Council members are entitled to
benefits equal to other individuals employed by the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That City Council members shall be entitled
to and shall receive the same hospitalization and major medical
insurance benefits and coverage as full-time permanent City employees,
SECTION 2: All RESOLUTIONS or parts of RESOLUTIONS and
all motions or parts of motions in conflict herewith are,repealed
to the extent of the conflict.
SECTION 3: This RESOLUTION shall become effective
upon adoption.
