CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- O - 07,3
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY OFFICIALS TO SUBMIT
AN APPLICATION TO THE FLORIDA COUNCIL
ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE FOR A CRIMINAL JUSTICE IMPROVEMENT
GRANT.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac, herein called the "Entitlement",l
has thoroughly considered available information from the Florida
Council on Criminal Justice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City of Tamarac declares its intent
to elect criminal justice entitlement status with the Florida Council
on Criminal Justice in order to participate as an entitlement
jurisdiction during fiscal year (s) 1981-1983 as prescribed by the
Justice System Improvement Act of 1979 (PL. 96-157); and,
SECTION 2: That Edward A. Gross, City Manages be authorized
to file in behalf of the entitlement a comprehensive application in
the form prescribed by the Florida Bureau of Criminal Justice
Assistance for a criminal justice improvement grant; and,
SECTION 3: The said Edward A. Gross, City Manages is further
authorized to furnish such information and take such action as may be
necessary to enable the entitlement to qualify for said grant.
