CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-&`o?3/
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A PARKS COMMISSIONER
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. R-80-25 established
the position of Parks Commissioner, and
WHEREAS, the term of office for the Parks Commissioner has
expired and Council wishes to make an appointment to this position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COU14CIL OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1:THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE PARKS COMMISSIONER
1. Work with the City administration to coordinate expansion,
additions, maintenance and repairs at parks owned and operated by the
City.
2. Work with the City administration to answer complaints
concerning maintenance of parks owned and operated by the City.
3. Attend and participate in meetings of the Recreation
Committee as an honorary member.
4. Make recommendations and provide input to the City Council
in his area of responsibility.
SECTION 2: That PHILIP B. KRAVITZ is hereby appointed
to the position of Parks Commissioner for a term to expire March 15, 1!
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon its
final passage.
