CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-80-235
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN ORDINANCE
REQUESTED BY DUFF'S PLAZA
WHEREAS, DUFF'S PLAZA has requested a waiver from
the Sign Ordinance No. 80-34; and
WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee reviewed this
request and has made recommendation thereon suggesting that it
go to Council for approval; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official reviewed said
waiver and suggested that Council act thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Waiver to the Sign Ordinance
requested by Duff's Plaza for the ground sign to have a solid
slab and the arches permitted to be retained and for a sign
equal to that over the doorway shall be permitted on the south-
east corner of the parapet, located at 6501 W. Commercial Blvd.,
is hereby approved.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS 22nd da of October, 1980.
