CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- O -ESL
A RFSOL'UTION PERTAINING TO PUBLIC ACCESSIBLE WATERWAYS
FOR MATCHING STATE FUNDS TO BE USED FOR AQUATIC PLANT
CONTROL.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac, hereinafter referred to as the
authority, is a district', special district, or other local authority
as defined in -the Department of Natural Resources administrative
rules Chapter 16C-15, and
WHEREAS, the authority is responsible for Aquatic Plant
Control as defined in the Department of Natural Resources administrati
rules Chapter 16C-15.
THEREFORE, BE, IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TILE CITY OF TAMARA
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the rivers, streams, lakes, navigable waters
and associated tributaries, canals, meandered lakes, enclosed water
systems, and any other bodies of water, to be managed for Aquatic
Plant Control with the use of funds from the Authority's actual total
budget, which is comprised of anticipated local funds and the maximum
allocation of state funds to be used for aquatic plant control, are
accessible to and/or managed for flood prevention for members of the
public other than and including riparian land owners.
