CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- FO -,:P
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE POSITION OF PARKS COM-
MISSIONER SETTING FORTH POWERS AND DUTIES;AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: ESTABLISHMENT OF PARKS: COMMISSIONER:
There is hereby created the position of Tamarac Parks
Commissioner. The appointee shall be appointed by Resolution and
shall serve at the pleasure of the City Council.
SECTION 2: THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE PARKS COMMISSIONER
ARE:
1. Work with the City administration to coordinate expansion,
additions, maintenance and repairs at parks owned and operated by the
City.
2. Work with the City administration to answer complaints
concerning maintenance of parks owned and operated by the City.
3. Attend and participate in meetings of the Recreation Com-
mittee as an honorary member.
4. Make recommendations and provide input to the City Counci=
in his area of responsibility.
SECTION 3: That Philip B. Kravitz is hereby appointec
to the position of Parks Commissioner for a periodto Sept. 15,1980
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective upon its
final passage.
