CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- SU '0_2602
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF
PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR G.M.G. INVESTMENT CO.
FOR ISLES OF TAMARAC - PETITION 46-Z-80.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that Council may
grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and loading requirements whenever
a hardship would exist by adhering to strict application thereof, and further
provides that the waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health and
wel.fare of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS a hardship exists at the Isles of Tamarac Recreation Parcel and
'applicatfon has been made to allow 900 parking for 18 spaces at the Clubhouse in
an S-1 zoning district; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing thereon and
has made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take actidn on the limited waiver
requested in the application of G.M.G. Investment Co. for the Isles of Tamarac
project located at 10500 N.W. 70 Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application for a limited waiver to Chapter 18 of
the Tamarac.City Code to allow 900 parking for 18 spaces at the Clubhouse in an $-1
zoning district is hereby APPROVED, and such limited waiver would not be dettrimental
to the public safety, 'health and welfare of the citizens of the City.
SECTION 2: This Resolution will become effective immediately upon its
final passage...
