CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION N0. e—g0
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING AMENDMENT TO SECTION 5.02
OF BROWARD COUNTY LAND USE PLAN
WHEREAS, both Commissioner Gross and the Broward County
Planning Council have recommended to the County Commission the
adoption of separate ordinances amending Section 5.02 of the Broward
County Land Use Plan; and
WHEREAS, either ordinance would be acceptable to the City
Council of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, it is a necessityand a saving of time and cost
to the citizens of a municipality for that municipality to be exempt
from platting requirements for municipally owned property.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council urges the members of
the Broward County Commission to enact either of the alternative
ordinances that they will be considering on January 6th and January
20th, 1981 amending Section 5.02 of the Broward County Land Use Plan.
SECTION 2: A copy of this Resolution shall -be furnished
to the members of the Broward County Commission and to each
municipality in Broward County.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this day of 4 ,1980.
