CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN
ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY GREEN THUMB GARDEN CENTER,
6115 NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE, TAMARAC.
WHEREAS, Green Thumb Garden Center has requested a waiver from
the Sign Ordinance No. 80-34 governing approval of signs on property other than the
applicant's; and
WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee reviewed this request and
has. made recommendation thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official has reviewed said waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the Sign Ordinance requested by
Green Thumb Garden Center, 6115 North University Drive, Tamarac, for a temporary
announcing sign, to be erected on property owned by Causeway Lumber Company directly
east of Green Thumb Garden Center, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of Approval ( i f any) : Approval granted
for one (1) year effective September 15, 1980 subject to the payment
of the appropriate fees within seven (7) days.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
