CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN
ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY BAGEL JOINT III,
4299 WEST COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD, TAMARAC.
WHEREAS, Bagel Joint III has requested a waiver from the Sign
Ordinance No. 80-34 governing shopping center criteria; and
WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee reviewed this request and
has made recommendation thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official reviewed said waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the Sign Ordinance requested by
Bagel Joint III, 4299 West Commercial Boulevard,
is HEREBY APPROVED with the following deviations from the regulations:
1) Two (2) wall signs to be permitted; one facing east and one
facing south;
2) That the signs erected by Bagel Joint III shall be permitted
to remain. However, the letters shall be made blue on a white
background in accordance with the criteria for Sunshine Plaza
on file with the City;
3) The style of the lettering does not have to be changed for the
existing signs.
SECTION 2: Conditions of Approval (if any): NONE
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this Z9 day of 1980.
