RESOLUTION NO. 64-4
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROPER OFFICERS OF THE
CITY TO ACCEPT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AN ASSIGN-
MENT OF LEASE TO CERTAIN RECREATIONAL LANDS AS
THEREIN DESCRIBED FROM TAMARAC LAKES, INC., A
FLORIDA CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, Tamarac Lakes, Inc., has offered to assign its
interest in and to the hereinafter described Lease, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac has considered
said offer and deems the same to be in the best interest of the
said City as a method by which the City shall acquire the use of
valuable recreation lands for its residents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
1. That this Council deems the offer of assignment made
by Tamarac Lakes, Inc., in and to that certain Lease dated the
25th day of March, A. D. 1964, by and between Kenneth E. Behring
and Patricia R. Behring, his wife, as Lessors, and Tamarac Lakes,
Inc., a Florida corporation, as Lessee, and recorded in Broward
County, Florida, Official Records Book 2779 at Pages 97 through
113, both inclusive, on the 26th day of March, A. D. 1964, to be
in the best interest of the City.
2. That the Council accepts said offer of assignment for
and on behalf of the City of Tamarac, Florida.
3. That the proper officials of the City be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to execute an acceptance of assign-
ment of the Lessee's interest in and aforesaid Lease.
ADOPTED THIS 26th DAY OF MARCH, A. D. 1964.
