A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROPER OFFICERS OF
THE CITY TO ACCEPT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AN
ASSIGNMENT OF LEASE TO CERTAIN RECREATIONAL
LANDS AS THEREIN DESCRIBED FROM TAMARAC LAKES,
INC., A FLORIDA CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, BEHRING PROPERTIES, INC., a Florida corporation,
has offered to assign its interest in and to the hereinafter des-
40 cribed lease, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac has considered
said offer and deems the same to be in the best interest of the said C�
as a method by which the City shall acquire the use of valuable
recreation lands for its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
1. That this Council deems the offer of assignment made
by BEHRING PROPERTIES, in and to that certain Lease dated the 28th
day of February, 1968, by and between TAMARAC MAINLANDS, INC., a
Florida corporation, as Lessor, and BEHRING PROPERTIES, INC., as
Lessee, and recorded in Broward County Official Records Book 3626,
Pages 972 through 981, inclusive, on the 25th day of March, 1968.
to be in the best interest of the City.
2. That the Council accepts said offer of assignment
for and on behalf of the City of Tamarac, Florida.
3. That the proper officials of the City be, and they
are, hereby authorized and directed to execute an acceptance of
assignment of the Lessee's interest in the aforesaid Lease.
ADOPTED this 13th day of March 1968.
