RESOLUTION NO. 19-69
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PROPER
CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE AN -AMENDED CONTRACT WITH
BROWARD REFUSE COMPANY, INC., d/b/a ALL SERVICE
REFUSE COMPANY - DIVISION C. PROVIDING FOR GARBAGE
COLLECTION WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac -desires
to enter into an Agreement with Broward Refuse Company, Inc.,
d/b/a All Service Refuse Company - Division C, in order to
provide the residents of said City with an -efficient system
for the collection of garbage accumulation, said company
being determined, after diligent search and inquiry, to be
the best suited source available for the purpose of garbage
collection within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City previously authorized a Contract with
said company by Resolution 16-69, and it now desires to
amend certain terms of said Contract; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the proper City officials are hereby
authorized and directed to execute that certain Amended
Agreement for garbage collection with Broward Refuse Company,
Inc., d/b/a All Service Refuse Company - Division C, a copy
of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if set
forth in full herein.
SECTION 2: That Resolution No. 16-69 passed by the
City Council on the 24th day of February, 1969, be and the
same is hereby repealed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of March, 1969.
