RESOLUTION NO. 19A-69
A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE INCLUSION OF EVER-
GLADES PARKWAY (ALLIGATOR ALLEY), AS A SEGMENT
OF THE INTERSTATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida, has been requested to consider and approve the
inclusion of the Everglades Parkway, (Alligator Alley),
as a segment of the Interstate Highway System, -and, after
due consideration, desires to approve the same, NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of
Tamarac, Florida, hereby approves and endorses the inclusion
• of Everglades Parkway, (Alligator Alley), as a segment of
the Interstate Highway System (I-75).
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk is hereby directed
and instructed to forward certified -copies of this Resolution
to the appropriate parties involved, including the City
Manager of the City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of March, 1969.
