RESOLUTION NO. 26-69
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING THAT ALL CITY
FUNDS SHALL BE DEPOSITED WITH THE
FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF MARGATE AND
THAT ALL ACCOUNTS WITH THE AMERICAN
NATIONAL BANK AND THE CORAL RIDGE
NATIONAL BANK BE CLOSED.
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a request
from the City Administration to transfer bank accounts
from the Coral Ridge National Bank and the American National
Bank, to the First National Bank of Margate; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has been further advised that
the American National Bank and the Coral Ridge National Bank
have given, and continue to give, satisfactory service and
attention to the City of Tamarac, however, both banks are
located a substantial distance from the City Hall of the
City of Tamarac; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has been advised that substan-
tial time could be saved by transferring all funds from the
American National Bank and the Coral Ridge National Bank to
the First National Bank of Margate and the City Council deems
it wise and expedient, and in the best interests of the City
of Tamarac, to transfer said funds to the First National Bank
of Margate; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Clerk be and he is
hereby instructed to close all bank accounts in the name of
the City of Tamarac with the American National Bank and the
Coral Ridge National Bank, and, that he open a clearing
account, general fund account, water revenue fund account,
special assessment fund account, and payroll account, and
any such other account as may now or hereinafter be necessary,

at the First National Bank of Margate in Margate, Florida.
1-0 SECTION 2: That the appropriate bank officials
at the Coral Ridge National Bank, American National Bank
and First National Bank of Margate, be supplied with certi-
fied copies of this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this day of June, A.D., 1969.
