A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNATURE OF
CHARLES J. PASTOR, VICE -MAYOR, IN THE
ABSENCE OF WILLIAM A. MORSE, MAYOR, ON
CHECKS OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC. FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Tamarac requires
the signature of the Mayor on all checks, countersigned by the
City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Tamarac provides
that the Vice -Mayor shall act in the absence of the Mayor and
the City Council desires to authorize the signature of Charles
J. Pastor, Vice -Mayor, in the absence of William A. Morse,
Mayor; now, therefore,
FLORIDA:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
SECTION 1: That the signature of Charles J. Pastor,
as Vice -Mayor of the City of Tamarac, Florida, be and the same
is hereby authorized on City checks in the absence of the Mayor,
William A. Morse. Previous authorization for the signature of
any other person as Vice -Mayor of said City is hereby revoked.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is hereby directed to
furnish a certified copy of this Resolution to all depositories
with which the City has funds and to provide said depositories
with a specimen signature of the Vice -Mayor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of November, A.D.
1968.
