RESOLUTION NO. 44-69
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROPER OFFICERS OF
THE CITY TO ACCEPT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AN
ASSIGNMENT OF LEASE TO CERTAIN RECREATIONAL
LANDS AS THEREIN DESCRIBED FROM THE WOODLANDS
SECTION SIX ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, THE WOODLANDS SECTION SIX ASSOCIATION has
offered to assign its interest in and to the hereinafter described
lease; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the CITY OF TAMARAC has consid-
ered said offer and deems the same to be in the best interest of
the said City as a method by which the City shall acquire the
use of valuable recreation lands for its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
1. That this Council deems the offer of assignment
made by BEHRING PROPERTIES, INC. in and to that certain lease
dated the 1st day of June, 1969, by and between JULY INVESTMENT
CORP. as Lessor, and BEHRING PROPERTIES, INC., a Florida corporation,
as Lessee, and recorded in Broward County Official Records Book
3961, Page 881, on the 24th day of June, 1969, to be in the
best interest of the City.
2. That the Council accepts said offer of assignment
for and on behalf of the City of Tamarac, Florida.
3. That the proper officials of the City be, and they
are, hereby authorized and directed to execute an acceptance of `-
assignment of the Lessee's interest in the aforesaid lease.
