RESOLUTION NO. 6-0
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROPER OFFICERS OF
THE CITY TO ACCEPT-ON'BEHALF OF THE CITY AN
ASSIGNMENT OF LEASE TO CERTAIN RECREATIONAL
LANDS AS THEREIN DESCRIBED FROM BEHRING PROPERTIES,
INC., A FLORIDA CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, BEHRING PROPERTIES, INC., a Florida corpora-
tion, has offered to assign its interest in and to the herein-
after described lease, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac has con-
sidered said offer and deems the same'to be in the best interest
of the said City as a method by which the City shall acquire the
use of valuable recreation lands for its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
1. That this Council deems the offer of assignment made
by BEHRING PROPERTIES, INC., in and to that certain Lease dated the
31st day of August, 1968, by and between K. E. BEHRING and PATRICIA
R. BEHRING, his wife, as Lessor, and BEHRING PROPERTIES, INC., as
Lessee, and recorded in Broward County Official Records Book 3779,
Pages 122 through 130, inclusive, on the 29th day of October, 1968,
to be in the best interest of the City.
2. That the Council accepts said offer of assignment for
and on behalf of the City of Tamarac, Florida.
3. That the proper officials of the City be, and they
are, hereby authorized and directed to execute an acceptance of
assignment of the Lessee's interest in the aforesaid Lease.
ADOPTED THIS 2nd day of December, 1968.
