. RESOLUTION NO. 60.69
A RESOLUTION ALLOWING THE APPROPRIATE
CITY OFFICIALS TO UTILIZE MECHANICAL
FACSIMILE SIGNATURES AND DIRECTING
BANKING INSTITUTIONS TO ACCEPT SAME
UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
WHEREAS, numerous checks are required to be executed
by the appropriate City officials on a weekly basis; and
WHEREAS, facsimile mechanical reproductions shall
provide a substantial savings of time to the City for payroll
and departmental checks and be in the best interests of the
City; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
• SECTION 1: That CHARLES J. LATZ and WILLIAM L.
BLAND be and they are hereby authorized to sign checks up
to Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) by means of a mechanic-
ally reproduced facsimile signatures and all banking institu-
tions wherein the City of Tamarac maintains a depository for
City funds shall accept checks containing said facsimile signa-
tures in accordance with the amount stated above.
