CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION #
WHEREAS, a study has been made regarding expense
allowances of members of the City Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the present
expense allowance of $50.00 per month is inadequate, and
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Tamarac pro-
vides that the City Council shall set by resolution compen-
sation of the Council Members, and
WHEREAS, the Council is now desirous of providing
for an increase in expense allowances for individual Council
Members.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL of
the City of Tamarac, Florida,
That the expense allowance for each Council Member
is hereby modified to the extent that each member shall re-
ceive as an expense allowance the sum of $100.00 per month.
That this Resolution and the expense allowance
modification hereby provided for shall take effect as of
July 1, 1970.
