RESOLUTION #26 -2Y
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Tamarac pro-
vides that the City Clerk be responsible for the keeping of
records and accounts of the finances of the City, advise the
Council in financial matters, audit the accounts of the de-
partments and make recommendations as to budgets, and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk deems it necessary to have
a committee established to advise him in these various duties,
and
WHEREAS, the Council is desirous of establishing
such a committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL of
the City of Tamarac, Florida,
That a committee to be known as the General Accounting
Advisory Committee is hereby established. That the Chairman
of said Committee shall be Mr. Henry Leyerle. That the City
Clerk, along with Mr. Henry Leyerle, is hereby authorized to
appoint members to this Committee as they deem necessary.
That the purpose of said Committee is to advise the
City Clerk in financial matters and aid him in the carrying
out of his related duties, when called upon.
That the aforesaid Chairman and the Members of said
Committee shall serve at the pleasure of the City Council.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 4, day of
1970.
